Hi yep ABS and the combined braking thingy. It work surprisingly well too. Not a patch on the CB Radial set up, but I've done a few straight line brakes test to get a good feel etc and i like the ABS and the combined brakes. On Friday i was out and we had torrential rain all be it for 20 mins etc, i tried the brakes on a few bends and stopping straight from speed in the rain and i have to say its very confidence inspiring.cybercarl wrote:Now that is sparkling clean and shiny Has it got ABS paul? what's that in the centre of the front discs.
I am totally amazed at the so called budget suspension mostly though, it holds a line fantastic, isn't sloppy etc but itsnt to bad at handling generally. It tramps on and feels just so easy to ride fastish. It aint pretty, but Iam happy that i still have a bike along with the 3 cars in the family!!!! I took the Atom out the other day and it felt so fast, having that with a bike is great so can't complain really. Were off the France at the end of July to give it a touring test so to speak. Iam away next week on it in Tunbridge Wells for the week, i hope to make Devon on the following Sunday. The pipe and slippers fit easily in the back box

Re: Not as Fugly as Lloydie
considering it was such a shitter when i got it, it needs some TLC, but the Bilt Hamber stuff is truly amazing. theres still some bits i need to do, the wheels are badly scratched but nothing that wont wait till winter. Wheels will be coming off and the swing arm checked.
I did see a CBF with the CB 1000r SSSA the other day, thats always an option I can't disguise the fact that the basic bike is bloody amazing for a budget type bike. Probably the comfiest bike I've ever ridden. we did 234 miles the other day and it was totally comfy. Ive adjusted the bars and the seat a bit. The wife feels secure with the box and panniers on. France at the end of the month. Hoping to make Devon Sunday after being away all this week.

O can sing it's praises enough, but it would be good to ride a standard example. Mine has ohlins rear shock and uprated gel seat, that makes is super comfy.
