Well guess where ive been this week....Yip you guessed it took in inverness on a wee check out trip..we however didnt stay in inverness, we pushed on round gairloch and stayed at the applecross inn..top pub well dodgy roads but brill landscapes to get there well worth the trip..

anyway some info the best place for fuel is tesco in inverness 97.9 same at somerfield in nairn but the cheapest was shell in Keith at 95.9. 8O most others are around north are around:oops: 99.9 roads around nessy are not to bad out and about there are some bits need reapaired on the way down from gairloch but only down as far as slattardale cattlegrid achensheen is still sweeping and well fast ....oh I.....met in with a bunch of charlie boorman ewan mcgregor type twats...who were staying in the pub... :? what is it about bmw GS owners does bmw really stand for ...bitchin moanin whingers..anyway the inverness roads were all looking good never saw the plod once but keep an eye out for bo peep and the lost sheep and also a few deer wandering about.. if i can suss out how to post pics i will put some up..if not hope the weather holds and see you all next weekend 8)

Oh Love scotland seen as my dad is from bridge of weir wish i was going with you all but my bikes in bits.
Last time i was there was visiting freinds in Nairn on your way to Inverness i believe stunning scenery very remote took us hours

Thanks for the invite Kaz but sadly can not make it or should i say the car wont i could always use the wifes horse :lol:

My Mates just been to ayshire cupasoop hes a farrier and was in a competition there.

Its gotta be done, unless there is a friendly tanker driver willing to spend his weekend following a buch of firestorms round the countryside for refulling pitstops
