Water in oil

Had the front cylinder head off a while back to repair exhaust stud, fitted new cyl hd gasket, now the coolant level keeps dropping and there is the white foamy stuff in the oil, is there any other way of coolant getting into the oil other than cyl hd gasket?

If the problem was there right after fitting the new head gasket, it sounds as if it's more than likely something to do with that.

did u change also cylinder head bolts?

No need to change them really.

Did you drain the fluids before removing the head otherwise water can get in the water channels then. Otherwise its likely that the new head gasket is not seated properly and/or the two mating surfaces where not rubbed down properly to clean off any old gasket and pitting. Also where the head bolts tightened back up in a zig zag sequence a bit at a time and too the required torque.

It's easy to move the front gasket with the little dowels if they are stuck to the head rather than the cylinder.
For the few pence they cost it's better to get new ones and pull the old ones out of the head with pliers and throw away.

When the dowels are in the cylinder instead of the head you can locate the gasket easier, then bolt the head down squarely.

It's heads off for you, I'm afraid, before bits start rusting inside.

You might consider a flushing oil but I usually just fill with cheap motorcycle oil, ride 100 miles, drain and refill, with a new filter, the second time with decent stuff.

Head gasket OK, should have gone the easy route first, water pump mechanical seal.

Water pump breather blocked, so water being forced through oil seal into engine, worth a look before ripping off head next time.
