i understand what the docs say about staying off of your bike, but they fail to realise that bikes can be a source of therapy.
keep in touch buddy, you can always vent on here.......
good on you GBM , who knows in six months time when the temp in Scotland creeps above freezing and you got a new tyre you might be able to ride a couple of days on the trot without feeling so shite ....

Thought you'd turned into one of those fist of flowers on a dry stone wall on a nasty bend
Glad to hear that the bricks still swinging GBM, missed your banter
Like AP mentioned, I also enjoyed reading that your getting back up to speed.
For me, bikes have always been the best form of therapy. Nothing beats a ride around the mountains to lift my spirit
If its not riding, polishing or modifying its the my fellow bikers that keeps me going sometimes. Oh & Frosty Jack cider

Nice to hear from you again GBM Sorry to hear about the sh1t but glad that you can still raise a finger or two to convention. Carry on mending and filling the pages of this hallowed forum with more of your "short" posts.
Take care bud.

Welcome back Dave What a crackin' first post on your return, you had me in stitches there at times.
It's really good to hear from you again after all this time, and it sounds almost like a miracle you have actually made it. Your positive attitude has surely made a difference I feel.
Wishing you better times ahead,
Chris.

And nope Alan, we've never met.
Yet.
I shall leave that scary thought with you. Y'never know. One day. When you least expect it. In the shower.....on the bog......at an OPStorm/workshop weekend.
The don't call me ''creeping Jesus'' for nowt y'know.
Actually, that's true. They DON'T call me creeping Jesus.
To ALL that have never met me - pray that it never happens. For Psychiatric help and decent sedatives are expensive in this current economic climate.
I would hate to see you all form a queue at Beachy Head....leaving just 'lil ol' me running this Forum...
