I hear ya. I wear glasses (I
can't wear contacts) and riding a bike can be a real bitch at this time of year.
I have been seen crawling down the road on the VTR at 40 mph (sometimes less!), as I can't see where the hell I'm going.
Car drivers are wondering what the hell I'm playing at, drifitng all over the road....but the reality is, the visor has misted up....or there is that much salt spray or condensation on the INSIDE of the visor, that wiping it with yer glove just smears it and then yer effectively riding blind.
Add glasses to the mix, and if you raise the visor in fog or with road salt on the roads, then the glasses ALSO get clarted, and it's a no-win situation.
Car drivers forget they have window washers and wipers. We have a glove...and then that's caked, there's no hope.
Does anyone remember the Wee Willy Wiper? A small rubber blade that slipped over yer gloved index finger.
Anyhoo - I've tried these anti-fog visors...none of them could cope with minus temperatures and hot breath in a helmet.
I can recommend Bob Heaths Anti Fog spray (a wee can, you can keep in yer pocket - it's that small).

To apply it, spray a wee bit on the INSIDE of yer visor, and then polish it off. It does appear streaky at night when headlights are coming at you, but the visor remains about 80% mist free. Do NOT apply it to contact lenses. But, you
can apply a tiny bit to your glasses (both sides of the lens)
As for a runny nose....you are LUCKY. If you are clean shaven....it just runs down yer chin.
Try having a beard, riding a bike in sub zero temperatures
and having a runny nose at the same time!
A days riding on my bike and I wonder why people run away from me when I remove my helmet in the supermarket car park.
The reason they run away??
That's NOT me by the way.
But the look is very similar to what can happen....
