I visited the Marc Marquez fan club, sadly it was just closing when I arrived... :(
i'm not a great fan of his, but it's in his home town of Cervera, which is about 80 miles away, good enough reason to go for a ride :Bike:

Stu,
we went to a city called Zakopane, 2hrs south of Krakow.. just on the the Slovenian border.

We went with a company called Whiteside Ski Holidays and they sorted out everything except drinking and flights. http://www.whitesideholidays.com/
so Transfers from airport and back, plus transport to whichever ski area we wanted to try each day. lift passes, ski hire and hotel all in the deal.
Gaz, the owner is from Hull and a serious freestyle snowboarder when he gets time off... but he scores top marks in making sure everybody is happy and getting the best out of the holiday. Even if you decide to split into 2 subgroups to go to different ski areas, he just works out the logistics and you get picked up next morning, sorts out instructors or a guide... 5 start customer service

the town has a lively centre with great places to eat and drink, just take care in the pavements, they don't bother much with salt and grit and I think most of us had our worst fall when walking!

Got annoyed with this undertray, I have never liked them and now im unfortunate enough to own a bike with one fitted, I loathe them even more, ive seen one of these collapse onto the rear tyre of a bike before, with just 4 self tappers holding the thing in place, im not surprised.

Have to remove the whole back end to just fit a numberplate..

Gents, is my reg/rec an aftermarket/newer item or is it a "will fail sooner rather than later" jobbie?

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

And so it continues !!!!

Ive jumped off my ongoing thread as ive only done a bit today!!!

But its been a good day in that i got the front head put back on, checked the valve clearances which are fine and also set the cam chain tension with the already fitted manuals. Also checked the back chain tension which was fine as well.
Going to get all the jubilee clips tomorrow and awaiting the o rings for the water elbows off the heads. Then its full speed ahead with the rebuild.

Need to clean up the headers and give them a coat of heat paint.

Its a slog now.

Best not to as it can cause damage to the loom as well as fry your battery...I'd get it changed before it heads south...

If your going to keep it then splice into the earth wire coming from the reg/rec and run a wire direct to the battery earth, this will help it last as any poor earth can be a cause of failure.

I must do it to mine as I still have the original like yours... But worse than that I have a new genuine Honda one sitting in a draw at work that I haven't bothered fitting.

Stripped the Weber's off the car engine & cleaned them up (on my new bench) ready for the Flat track project.

On Sunday I got hold of a load of large heavy euro pallets & some scrap ply & built a sturdy bench in the garden then bolted a vice on to it.

I'm made up tbh & it cost me nothing apart from my time :D

I've got 3/4 marine ply for the top, but I ran out of screws.
