Charity Mugger 2 - the Sequel

Post by Mav617 »

Hi All,

As my wonderful friends, family and this very august forum did such a sterling job last year in sponsoring my 14 mile hike around London for the Marsden Hospital Charity, raising over £350, I wanted not only to thank you again - but also to hit you up for more!

Same sketch this year, 14 mile walk (not a pub crawl, promise) and if you can spare the change from the back of the sofa, I (and the Marsden) would be eternally grateful. It's an excellent cause and it means I have to get off my a**e, leave my computer alone for a while and partake in actual, physical exercise in a social setting.

Obviously I hope no-one responds, then I can remain in the house that day and not have to interact with people or face the prospect of physical pain/swollen ankles......but if you decide I would benefit from the exercise feel free to donate your hard-earned money at the page linked below. Contributions go directly to the Marsden so will not be funding expensive bolt-ons/re-spray for my Storm, Raspberry Pi computer projects or my tab at the Local:

I appreciate there are plenty of people knocking your door for money and we're all busy so best wishes count just as much!
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

Thanks guys, we raised a total of nearly £300 - which my Company doubled so £600 towards fighting Cancer and Banham as a company raised nearly £20,000 and paid for all the marketing, t-shirts, medals etc
