Tokico 6 pot callipers
Tokico 6 pot callipers
I have just bought some tokico 6 pot callipers off eBay I think I might have dropped a bit of a bollok I was under the impression they would just bolt straight on but calliper mount measures at 90 mil whereas vtr measures at 65 mil or there abouts so the question is is it possible to get a calliper bracket for them to fit my bike or do I need to sell them and buy a different set they came off a tl I got braided hoses and master cylinder I got them for £60 it seemed a bit of a bargain at the time but now it doesn't seem like a good idea all help would be appreciated

Marty is correct. Not all the tokico six pots bolt on Paul. GSXR 2001-2002 do and not many others to be honest.

Re: Tokico 6 pot callipers
now I haven't got that much experience of other manufacturers other than Honda late 90's early 2000 bikes, but from what I've read, of all the oem non radial calipers, nissin are some of the best.popkat wrote:And it's not uncommon for GSXR owners to change their (not very good) 6 pots for better 4 potsagentpineapple wrote:iirc it was gsxr1000, 6 pots that fit straight on![]()

I wouldn't have a clue mate, maybe an engineering firm could make some for you, doubt it would be cost effective tho, if I was you, i'd sell them on and go for a cbr600 f4i set up, yes they're 4 pots, but they're good.Paultandy wrote:Is it possible to get sum sort of bracket to fit them ?
also look for blade 98 to 2003, sp1 and 2 calipers with matching mc
