Put the starter motor back on the bike with a couple of M6 allen bolts and nuts.

Brought the fairings back to be redone as I was not happy in the end with the purple-ish blue they ended up. Going towards more of a Candy Blue.
If you don't try you never know if you can do it.

I just got back to Spain, I've missed my bike for the last month, and just before I left for the Uk I had a friend weld a broken bracket on the front subframe. so it's been naked for the last month :eek2
so there I am at 10pm tonight re-fitting the fairing and I couldn't be happier
roll on Sunday when I can go for my first ride for over a month.... :biggrin

Well I stripped the sea salted rear shock off then swapped it for the nice clean new to me £7.99 one money well spent, spare rear subframe fitted swinging arm and calipers steam cleaned nice and clean now. Tomorrow if i decide not to work ( all the perks of being self employed) I'll hopefully get the calipers and body work on then tax it on Saturday and then ride it :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Either way, my Firestorm was far more happy when pushed with much more accurate and lighter steering and I know they have a reputation for a being a soft-ish ride.

Engine was mega thou, pulled really hard from anywhere in the rev range and the standard can even had a nice bark to it. That element was certainly far nicer than the FZ1.

Nah!
You don't want one of them, they're a poofters bike. They can't keep up with a Storm any day of the week
