Indicator delay
Indicator delay
Ok my indecators were fine till tonight when i noticed they kick in 1 to 1 1/2 seconds after i press them any ideas ?
Same both sides.
Same both sides.
Re: Indicator delay
Dirty contact ? Clean the switch, squirt some contact cleaner in the housing.
Less likely its the flasher relay failing. Righthand side under the seat plastics just behind the reg rec.
Try cleaning the switch first if that don't solve it then try swapping the flasher relay.

Re: Indicator delay
I agree with MacV2. If it does not sort out with a squib of contact cleaner and lubricant you can take it apart and strip it down so you can get right at the switch. Bit fiddle though
Re: Indicator delay
mine done that and it got longer before they would flash as time went on. turned out it was my switch gear was the problem. i junked it for a different one and its fine.
the older i get,the faster i was

Re: Indicator delay
If the indicators are slow it will be the red wire that is the problem. It makes everything slow

Re: Indicator delay
Update:
Its only in the cold this happens. I keep the bike in the living room at night and they are fine. But after a few hours outside the delay starts.
They were fine till the weather got cold.

Hi, have been suffering with this issue but originally thought it was a bad switch. How do I contact Frank for one of his £5 posted relays?

Re: Indicator delay
Mine did the same and finally no flashing at all. I bought an OEM relay from Mr Honda.... How much???
