People will say Yuasa but personally I would go with Motobatt
If it aint broke, get your bloody hands off it!
Re: Bike not starting
Hmmm.... Bought a new battery, and everything was just fine. Used it for some weeks now, but yesterday the bike wouldn't start after I stopped. Looks like it's not charging and just emptys the battery. Any ideas?

Re: Bike not starting
I've used Motobatt's for a couple of years now, more than capable of turning the lump over on a cold morning, full charge the battery & get a multimeter on it, check the voltage whilst it's running to see if it's charging or not from the r/r. There is a topic on here that tells you exactly what sort of outputs to look out for, but I can't search for it at the moment.
I'm in the process of getting a new Motobatt, MBTX12U is the one you want for a 97-00 Firestorm, later years are MBTX9U batteries, I'm also getting a new r/r just in case

Re: Bike not starting
Thanx! The bike has stood still for two years, and been driven without front fender, so in wet conditions it's been a hell

So... I was going to change the regulator, and found this... why did this happen?
