im thinking of getting these https://www.topyokes.uk/honda-vtr-fires ... lebar-kit/ if anyone has used these or similar can they tell me if they were able to use the original throttle cable, i can see that i would have to change the clutch and brake hoses i was just wondering if the original throttle cables have enough play in them or would i have to try and source new longer ones

iv had high bars on mine in the past and used a standard cable no problem, i had to re-route the cable a little but still had plenty to play with.

I would also ask the manufacturer, just to be on the safe side as they should be 100% certain one way or the other...

Just ordered a kit. I suspect the hydraulic lines will need replacing with longer but the rest should be ok depending on which bars you go for.

Yes std throttle cables will be fine with those yokes and a set of ultra low bend renthals.

I also have the std clutch hoses still fitted and had no problem with the Goodrich brake lines that were already on the bike before the conversion. The only think I needed to extend was the wiring to the horn

A word of warning, CNC top yokes may take longer in delivery times than as suggested on their site, as in could be a lot longer. Hopefully they are better now with delivery times, but in the past some of our members here have been waiting for weeks on delivery.

I will say though CNC's top yokes certainly appear to be top quality going by bikes I have seen them fitted too,
