I think my front cyl head ok and vavles .will strp clean and reasemble .small relapping should be ok and seals.

Gear is normal, but it seems likely you've had a valve, valve stem seal or guide failure allowing exhaust gas into the cam cover.
Is that piece of metal you found steel or alloy?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Well it looks lot lime the stainless steel from exh joint seal.

Question. ..i have noticed the chain here on oil pick up ..to be unexpectedly loose ..is this normal.

Also is it really necessary to remove flywheel to split case to remove pistons.

yes it is normal for the old pump chain to be that loose
