Here's Something a Bit Diffrent

Post by VTRDark »

While looking through considering or rather dreaming of what bike to get next I came across a Triumph Daytona 955i made to look like a Ducati 1098 8O By the way I am seriously considering a Triumph 675R actually if I had the money I quite fancy the Triumph Thruxton R 1200 in Red

Anyway check out this conversion out. It looks pretty good but I would like to see the instrument panel and what's been done there.

I am saving for another bike but really can't decide what to get. I have no idea and keep dreaming and then I start thinking sensible but most likely a little boring and/or lack of character. I really would love to try the Thruxton 1200 and I reckon that would be a good match against the storm with regards to power, feel and has loads of character. Just too much money though. I shall keep saving and see how much I have by Christmas and what bargains are to be had in the new year. I think I am having a mid life crisis  and see this as my last chance to get something really special.

Now look at this beauty.

The Daytona looks good in the pictures but probably not as tidy in the flesh, he says Marchasini rear wheel but it's 1050 speed triple wheel and SSA. bike was a write off too.

The thruxton, take a nice looking bike and put some saddle bags on it to make it look shite
I don't reckon it'll have the character either. low revving and very refined, I wouldn't mind a go on one at some point though.

I had a 675 in 2007, amazing handling bike with an engine that feels bigger than it is.. Downside is it's a tiny bike. It begs you to take it on the race track too.
