Hi all as title says, got myself a nice R reg firestorm in silver all standard at the moment, apart from these manual tensioner thingys
Mileage is high 30k,s but rides and handles great, had to take the 6 inch hero blobs out of the footpegs as they kept hitting the ground in the recent hot weather we,ve had in the uk
Wow what an underated bike these are and all for a grand of my hard earned cash
Like to get some cans on to release the sound next, any recommendations
Cheers Steve

As for cans - anything marked NFR and avoid cheapy Chinese.
Post some pics of your new Storm beasty

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Whilst your waiting for the new cans just spend a hour or so ripping the baffles out of the std cans...instant noise...Have a seach of the forum for ''Bafflectomy...'' Basicaly rip the internal baffle out of the standard cans...It don't help with the weight much std cans are around 9kg each...I have a set of Harris cans that weigh about that all in...
Lots of choice out there..still quite a few manufacters listing cans for the Storm...Avoid DanMotos...cheap but not the best quality & have a weird baffle system...it fits in at the link pipe end, so to fit you have to have the can off to do it rather than stick it in the open end...
As said e-bay is a good source but do some reserch on each brand...eg Micron nice cans but now sadly out of buisness so parts not out there new.
Good luck with the serch for the can of choice get busy with the drill, chisle & hammer on the debaff...

Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...
