De blinged the Red Shed*... Too shiny rad covers removed, origonals were in the box of bits, bit rusty so sprayed black before fitting.

Removed the too shiny top yoke cover...

Sorted the brakes out...Don't know why but the brakes were really bad, suspect it was a major air bubble in there somewhere...Drained them & whipped the callipers off, not to grubby inside & good meaty pads. So as I had a refurbed set laying around...I just swapped them over...
Fresh fluid in, quick bleed n pump...I now have front brakes...bleed the M/C as well.

Discovered there a few moody wiring jobs been done along it's way...Nice smoked LED rear light...silly boy has chopped off the std conector...Had to cut the wires to remove the rear plastics...

It has a rentec fitting kit on it....which is nice as a few days ago, Andy Stormer neighbour was asking about if there was a grab rail avaliable for Storms...I explained about the retec ones & left it at that...

So today I pointed it out to him & as I had a grab handle in stock we fitted it to show him what it looked like...He bought it off me... :lol:

Tucked them all away, leaving the Red Shed to drain its oil overnight...

It'll need a bit of work & a few cosmetic as well as mechanical bits & bobs to sort out...There are a few bodge's on it...one of the calliper mounting bolts was not OE spec...much smaller head allen bolt.... 8O ....So I will be giving it a good going over to check it all out.

The seller said to me...''the forks were looking a bit tatty so I painted them...'' I think he used a bog brush... :lol: :lol:

Oh & the rear is an 09 so a bit old...the front better thats a 10... :lol:

* It's Red it's on a S plate...so it's SRed...but it's proving on closer inspection it's 43k & 11 previous owners were not that kind to it...In time & with a bit of work it may revert to SRed...
