Looking to do the fuel pump mod.
I'm also looking for trick velocity stacks if anyone has some hen's teeth they're willing to let go.
Thanks

Careful if you fit a fuel pump to the 16l tank early ones. The fuel pump pulls the vac tap shut.
Easy to sort, fit quick break 8mm fittings in the fuel line and remove the large tap diaphragm, or block it open.
Learning that cost me hours on the way to a Forum meet one year......

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Re: Velocity stacks and CBR600 fuel pump
Cheers Tony. From what I remember Roger saying the tap clicks until the bike is started but turning the diaphragm round fixes that. Presumably it fixes what you're taking about too - permanently open.
Re: Velocity stacks and CBR600 fuel pump
Yes. I just inserted a paper clip to stop the diaphragm sealing against the seating, as soon as the bike starts it allows the vacuum caused by the pump sucking to release and all is then well. Turning it round is probably just as effective, and saves the extra weight of the paperclip
The dry breaks mean you can still remove the tank without fuel spilling everywhere.
