Ello everyone. Am new here and new first time owner of a not new vtr. Been browsing the site for a few days now and already resolved a few minor niggles with the new toy, so thank u to all who have helped already I hope I can return the favour sometime,if not then I can only hope to entertain by joining in with the banter and lending some moral support,looking forward to making new friends.

Not put the manual ones in yet , have recipts for stuff done before I bought it one is for new uprated auto tensioners but I still want go down the manual route at some point in the not too distant future

I am pretty sure others will agree there is no such thing as "uprated auto tensioners" so don't put any trust in that.

Don't treat this as a technical question, more a general inquiry, I understand the (time bomb) thing, and will have my cct's sorted this winter, but no one seems to mention the chains themselves, are they indestructible and only need the tensioners sorting or do they need replacing too at some point?
