Re: crash protection frame sliders
I did consider having the frame done black but couldn't bring myself to powdercoat a spondon frame so as it's been polished in the past I'll re Polish it, the black bracket should go quite nicely with the black rearsets

Re: crash protection frame sliders
They look very similar to the Moko slider brackets on my bike:
The ally sliders aren't my cup of tea, but they certainly look individual! Good work dude

Re: crash protection frame sliders
Double hard Mushrooms work well.
Motrax MCA Ltd used to be the exclusive distributer, try calling them for a set, might be in the cave somewhere.
Product code for the VTR is DHMH6 as they were used on a few different bikes.
These go at the engine mounting bolts, new bolts supplied, just in front of your knees. I would say if your over 6'3" you might have knee clearance issues. 6'2" and below, its all ok. you can also hang your legs over these if you have high bars and slouch back.....
These work in protecting frame, but your panels will still be wrecked depending if the bike slides front or rear end down the road.
