Ok closer pics tomorrow, amoungst other things i"m a boilermaker so it a custom job by me, its very easy to do if your not going to keep orignal taillight etc. basicly its the standard subframe with the standard cross bracing removed then a nw custom X brace is welded in and extentions to the subframe welded in, after that a skid plate is then welded on, on the inside the standard inner tray is removed and a new battery mount is built in place, and also a new custom undertray is then cut out of Al and fitted. the plastic work around the scrape bar is trimed to fit and a led tail light is fitted onto the new undertray. ( this bike is not regoed and i only have the tail light for when i put on shows at the drags at night )
I know its not the VTR but here is a small sample of what i used to do on the GSXR1000
The gsxr run out of oil during a wheelie and put a conrod through the block so now being put back to street bike
Ben it's standard on the front and 56 on the rear, and the the coment about left handers is funny because most other stunters laugh at the one on it and tell me i need to get a bigger one, its about 15", darius from servin' it up runs a 16.5" sprocket on a 17" rim!!!!!!!!!!!!!( he can still go round left handers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHich do you prefer though the GSX or the VTR for doing your shows?.
Does the lack of revs on the Storm make it more difficult or does it balance out (no pun intended ) case it produces more lower down?

I mean if it will lift the front virtually from tickover in first on my 44 rear, you'll presumably be able to do the same thing in 3rd gear.
However, it will be AT THE SAME SPEED

Pete each has advantages and disadvantages, I'd not like to say which i'd prefer yet as i"ve only just got the VTR a few week ago and still getting used to it, it's VERY diffrent to ride, due to the fuel injection on the gixxer its alot easyer to maintain BP (balance point ) wheelies the VTR has issues with the carbs ( one floods and the other leans ) and causes the bike to surge a bit disconcerting when your at BP doing a highchair ( refer to sig in my posts ) but the VTR is Sooooooo easy to wheelie and the fact that it dont have as many reves as the gixxer isnt a prob its about getting it to BP and keeping it there and or slowing it down once your at BP hence the dinner plate ( big sprocket ) much slower at the same rpm in the same gear as would be a nonrmal geard bike you cen do walking pace wheelies ( i"m just learning to do them in 1st so that i can slow them down to walknig pace )
Ben as i mentioned above with the 56teeth sprocket if i were to lift the wheel in 1st and you were to ift the wheel is first i would be going a LOT slower than you would be ( and believe me when i say that this is not easy IT ISN"T ) so there are two reasons to get wheelies real slow one is to be able to do a whole new set of tricks which can not be done fast and because some of the venues that we do stunting in we only have about 70 metres to work in a slow wheelie that lasts a long time in 70m is impressive.

just a thought, I don't know if it iwill make any difference, but what about fitting a cbr 6oo fuel pump. It was all the rage amonst the early racers with storms, it may smooth out those surges
