06.30...Got all me kit on, pulled the Custard out of the cave, mount up, hit the starter....chough, chug, chough, cugha chuga...bluuurrrr. Nish. Flattened the batt. Charger out & on, leave for 15 mins. Same thing. Batt was showing 11.6V & going up whilst on charge. Txt work i'm gonna be late... Changed the batt, nicked off Nue Red which was charged up last week & showing 12.8...Still nothing.

Just before 8 phoned work quick explination on the joys of Storm starter motors...

He said don't worry I'll book it as a days leave....Result.

So after a coffee & this sort of thing I'm off to change the starter motor...I just happen to have a spare in the cave...

I'll have to have a rake to see if I have a spare starter lead as well. In for a penny in for a pound...

But generaly Grrrr I could do with out this sort of thing on a Tuesday morn.

spending all weekend in a Van going up & down to Scotland then having to empty my mums house .... and if that wasn't bad enough, when I do get home all I can hear is all the bikers coming back from having fun on their bikes in the warm spring weather

Washed , polished , 2x coats of wax on the golf and then the heaven opened up :-( .
On the up side I watched the rain bead of the Finns wax

The Storm is a great bike for the money but it does lack some bollox when you get into 4th and into the bigger numbers...Last time I got blitzed by a car was in the mid 90s on my YZF750 and an Audi RS summat did me down the A5D, the YZF was also dyno'd at 107.... ...it did use more oil than my LC thou(not joking!)
