Funds received.m a few have already added their £5 for bedding too, so thanks for that. For the rest of you, don't worry about that, I will wait till 2 weeks before and confirm and pay the bedding and you can pay me when we meet up.

For the burger night, again I will confirm numbers with them two weeks before and I do t think we need to pay for that till you eat it

Podmans mate has dropped out, but one of the other guys has got the space I booked for him, and Just waiting on Macdee and Rolling thunder to confirm before I add any more numbers to the booking.

Looking like a good turnout and with a good mix of regulars and new faces .... Just need to get rid of the snow now.

I haven't been on much at all in recent months, been too busy with work and having a second kid now.

I am sorely tempted to sack off biking for the year, including any track days, as I don't have time. This trip now clashes with a wedding I'm invited to, and the bike hasn't been touched since I got back from Scotland last year. It has a bald back tyre and is SORN. I'm actually not even sure I renewed the insurance?!? I'll have to check that actually.

Anyway, if anything's going to get me out on the bike this year, it'll be this Scotland trip. The roads up there can't be beaten in the UK.

I need to sort myself out and get the bike down the garage for an MOT and oil change / service.

I haven't bothered to read the rest of this thread to be honest, but I assume it'll be the usual ride up Friday, meet in the dales, come home Sunday etc. I'll book the Friday off work anyway.

yes same format as before, up friday and home sunday OR monday the biggest change is we will be staying in a bunkhouse at the side of Loch Ken, so about 10 miles from Kirkcudbright.

Lee,
We have taken over 16 of the 20 beds in the bunkhouse, so I don't think there is a big risk that another group of 4 will try and book for the same weekend. Based on that it should be OK to wait for a late approval and play it by ear.


If the worst comes to the worst, there is also camping at the same site.
