stupid grease question.

what is the red grease you have on head race bearings?
the only red grease I know of, is red rubber grease...

I just want to re-apply some grease to my head race bearings.

usually synthetics like Mobil 1 are red

Yeah I had a tub of this http://www.silkolene.com/motorcycle/gre ... g2-grease/ for years and it was red. It smelt delicious, like an old steam train or railway engine shed.
