Re: guy martin
Repeat of the format maybe - I saw one once with David Coulthard and Guy Martin.
Re: guy martin
More fun if they got on a bike to take him on but they wouldnt do that.
Re: guy martin
It's a new one, I think, because they are going to use classic F1 cars, Jensen is in a six wheeler...
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: guy martin
It's not listed down here Tuesday C4 that I can see
**EDIT**
Right I've found it, it looks like it's a new program as Tony thought, it's on Monday evening not Tuesday (Mon 27th Aug C4 9pm)
I've modified Alan's original post.
Thanks for the heads-up Alan
There's a bit about it here:- https://www.pressreader.com/uk/tv-times ... 6048436414
On a different note I just happened to find this video, an interview by Suzi Perry interviewing Guy Martin. Warning though for Lloydie, there is a picture of a sheep in the first 3 or 4 mins
Chris.

Re: guy martin
Haha it's an age thing Dave, it happens to us all...

Deff a new prog in the other prog he did with Williams he was pit crew.
This one he gets to drive an FW08 v's Button driving a 6 wheeler that never raced in period...
Unlike the Tyrell 6 wheel P34, which did race with some success in '76 * the Williams had 4 small driven wheels at the rear. March built one as well that didn't race either.
Your forum F1 correspondent...Mac
* The P34 suffered in the following season from lack of development in the special size front tyres, it did however have a fair bit of success in later years in historic racing.
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...
Re: guy martin
No problem Alan, we all do these things at times.
I'm just pleased you gave us the heads-up, otherwise I wouldn't have been looking for it

I'm looking forward to it, plus I have set the recorder just in case

Chris.

not just drive, rebuild too. wonder what happens to prototypes and each new generation of race car. do they get stripped/crushed, stored until uncompetitive/the innovations no longer offer competitive advantage?
do you think he will have to go in search of missing parts, borrow from later cars, or get new bits made
Re: guy martin
they might - if guy had an older bike. a 1927 sunbeam would be taking it too far. how many generations would it take to even things up?
or guy on a road bike maybe.
did you see the one where rode an indian enfield?
Re: guy martin
entertaining - driving the astra with an instructor. the simulator for driver training was spectacular
Re: guy martin
I did....intresting engineering techniques
