what have you done to your "bike" today

Fitted new horns... The OE one had stopped working (worn out maybe ), managed to find a pair in the scrappies, a 2008 Honda Civic Type S, two tones! Managed to get them both in the same space as the original, using the brackets that they came on (being Honda horns they were nice and compact)

Fitted fresh rubber to the Ape. You know, a couple of those black round things. A set costs me £250 and I get 2500 miles out of them. 10p a mile just for rubber. Economical these bikes....

ps. Met a MY15 Tuono Factory rider and bike down the rubber shop. He just had a some round black things fitted. The bike was immaculate and had all of 10000 miles on it. 10k in three years? Do these people not use the things?

pps. Got a squidgy thing for my butt. Preparation for Wales.

Took the SP2 for an MOT and then went on a ride out. Due to the lack of use because of my bad neck and arm I keep thinking of maybe selling the SP2, but the minute I get out and ride it, it all goes out of the window and it all comes back to remind me how fantastic these things are.

My hope is that they will allow me to use my hi-mount link pipes (which are longer than the low-mounts and thus give a boost to the lows and mids) while keeping the passenger pegs (so I can take my daughter out for rides)...

I like the look of those.

So far today I've had the rear boot replaced with a Michelin 2ct to match the front. The old rear had a massive flat area so I'm hoping to feel a difference and may have to take the long way home .

I like the look of those.

You should find a big improvement on how the bike handles now, just remember to do the 100 miles first to bed it in,

As I MotoGP was on at the same time, I took the TV out of the living room and put it in the garage and used chromecast and BT sport to watch it while working
