I know exactly what you mean. I pulled a major sleight-of-hand when I traded my CBR250R for a 2011 Blade. Look almost identical. I week later wifey says, 'Does your bike sound different?'
'Yes', I replied, 'I took the baffle out of the exhaust.'
'Oh,' she replied as she walked back to the kitchen - barefoot of course!

Had a good look at a CB650F today. What a nice looking bike. Probably needs some work on the suspension which looks rather low rent but otherwise it looked the biz.
