You're right to look at Carbonadi, Adi will look after you; make sure the holes are cut in the alternator side.
The cheapie ones are much too thin to protect but are useful to cover up scrapes, I suppose.

What do you mean about the holes, Tony? Why won't they come pre drilled? At £120 for a pair, why wouldn't there be any?

Ask him to send ones with those holes in.I had Carbonadi ones on mine and I don't think there is extra charge iirc.But you have to tell him you want the holes in them.Quality product.
