As Chris says, that sort of horror seems to be fashionable - loads on Instagram - some really good classic Beemers have been butchered. Crap tyres, no mudguards, plank for a seat - cool? Nah.

No no no no (said in the voice of Jim Trott ) you're missing the point Mac, it's not an upgrade it's a style/fashion/look.
Sadly fashion has no relevance to practicality, although I would imagine that a single disc will be good enough with the speed you'll be going on those knobbly tyres
