Re: New Bike
Learning to like it the more I ride it, first impressions were not good the time old question, what the ******* hell have I done, its crap at low speed it pops and farts and is not especially comfortable I'm sure it leaks fuel or the light is knacked.
Re: New Bike

Turn the idel speed up 1200 - 1400 rpm & set TPS to as near 500omhs as you can get...(head to the workshop section...)
Check all the exhaust joints are tight as any air leaks in the system will make it pop & bang...
As for fuel they are a bit thirsty but you should get a min of 100miles to a tank I've seen 120 before the light comes on...
Always brim the tank & at some stage do a ride with a 5ltr fuel can of fresh unleded strapped to the back...Ride till the light come on, reset the trip & ride till first splutter, pull over, check how far you got on reserve...slosh the 5 ltrs in & head to the nearest pervayor of go go juice...
DO NOT do this on a motorway !

Re: New Bike
I always brim the tank and then I get between 105 and 115 miles before the light. Then 20 miles after that. If you brim the 16 L tank when it's empty it will take just under 17 L.
It could be worse. My V4 Ape does exactly the same mileage but has an 18 L tank.
