I've got to buy one of these and been thinking about buying one of the Oxford products at about £53
Anyone got any feedback or other options?
Chain riveter/splitter
Re: Chain riveter/splitter
I’m a motorcycle technician/mechanic, and I’ve been using my oxford one for about 12 months now. Can’t fault it. Quality tool, at a great price. Even has a spare pin in the handle if you ever need it......
Just make sure that you fully thread the adapter pieces into the other moving part (you’ll get what I mean when you use it) otherwise you’ll damage the threads.... which I did. Quick tap and it was fine but definitely something to look out for.
