LE MANS 24 hr

Post by Jaglifter »

Hi all,

Just got back from a trip to watch the Le Mans 24 hr race. Very very hot! The race was the usual Deutchlan Uber Alles, with the new diesel Audis whispering round like a scalextric. :(
GT1 was best. The Corvette sounds likea Le Mans car should - awesome. :) :) As usual the Astons were quick, but failed in the last couple of hours.

Lots of bikes doing burnouts etc etc. Saw one SP1!

Must go nd see the bikes some time.

Luckily my VCR settup worked and we were able to see Rossi win. What a race that was!

It's well worth the trip to see the bike there, been a few times and a real good track to watch, plus the beers good 8)

I'm aiming for next year. Probably take the longer ferry crossing to Le Havre then its a relatively short trip thro' France. It'll be cooler since its earlier in the year. I missed a lot of the race this year 'cus it was just too hot to hike to the circuit.

Hoping to get to Donnington this year. It'll be my first MotoGP!

Hi Alan,

I'll probably go to the GP on the Storm. My parents still live near Derby, so I'll bunk up with them for a night.

The CD is brilliant. Thanks very much. I've copied it and passed it on to the guy with the SP1, who sends his thanks. :D
