If you don't try you never know if you can do it.

Indeed I did sir. Absolutely loving the bike. Start of summer here too, so it's all good

Does that mean June, July and August are your official summer months just like us here in the UK

Old Yellow should be back home again in under 12mths is my guess

And seems with fabio moving his yellow on I bought the one from the friend.
So that's three at the minute with a 4th on the way from england as a donor bike.
It's started again.

No...

Must of been a bug of some sort but it looks like blood, even hitting a sparrow a/ I think I would have felt it... b/ it would have broken the panel...surely ?
What ever it was if it's not dead it sure will be a bit sore...

Decided to take a photo of then lined up.
A happy man today. With the VFR in a corner that's 5 bikes at the house. 4 running firestorms. Over the moon.

Not so much as today.
But yesterday me and my family had to evacuate our home in north eastern Spain because of a massive forest fire. We only had time to grab our pets and leave.
Dam you drive fast when you see huge flames heading towards you. Sadly we couldn't find our cat. But I think he'll be ok.also me and my friends firestorms had to be left behind.
Thankfully we have been able to stay with friends in the next town over.
I didn't sleep at all last night.partly because I had my bloody big 80kg hairy dog in the bed with me. So he could cool down in front of the fan....lol
Today I've seen a small video clip of my land and property. And although the land is scorched the properties seem intact.
The police aren't letting us go home as the fire is still not under control.and the winds are very strong.
So I'm thankful we got out. All bar one cat. But I don't know if the bikes survived.
Hopefully tomorrow we will be allowed home.

Fingers firmly crossed, mate.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
That must have been a scary time Marty
Glad you, your family and your dogs are okay, I hope the cat has survived and your bikes. I think like you that you cat will have survived if he/she was outdoors, they're pretty clever animals normally,
Chris.

Been in that situation when I was in Portugal and had to help a friend strim back the bush and then hose it all down to try and help prevent the fire. Then help grab what we could from the house before getting in vehicles to escape the fires coming over the hills. He was lucky as the wind changed direction and the fires and he was down in a valley. Hope everything is OK mate. The cat will be fine they are pretty good at looking after themselves. Scary sh1t though and with the extreme temps over the next few days it wont help. Global warming kicking in. It's something that you need to prepare for in the future as this kind of thing is going to become the norm. Fingers crossed buddy. You need to teach the dog to ride the storm as the dog could have ridden it out then LOL Actually on a serious note it might be worth considering storing the bike/s on a trailer so if anything like this crops up in the future you just attach the trailer to vehicle and off you go. Also a fireproof box/safe for all your valuables. F***ing hell where you are I would consider making a concrete underground bunker or drop a shipping container into the ground.
