Because your on a later browser. No way am I updating anything and then being pushed into updating hardware. That's what drives capitalism. Force people into buying more useless stuff so the old can end up on the landfill and companies can get rich. Update software which requires new hardware, then update more software and not only do things get less secure but devices start to get sluggish over time so then one is pushed into buying new hardware with more powerful processors, ram etc to cope with it, install new software and around we go again.
It's a constant technological cycle designed to con us out of more money and data. The problem is a lack of backwards compatibility and the web and a lot of sites help to drive things forward only we are not going forwards we are mentally going backwards by being sucked into all the rubbish. The only thing going forwards is your money and data into company coffers. If everyone stopped buying new hardware and installing new software things would remain a constant and there would be no problems. And all the time this is happening we have media scare tactics about vulnerabilities and threats and reasons why we should update. It's the constant updating that is causing the vulnerabilities which they then fix by creating new software and hardware only for new vulnerabilities to be found. It's a similar tactic that is used to create wars which is another economy driver. Create a problem then convince and manipulate everyone into believing we have to go in and fix the problem.
Nah I'm at the point now where once I can't access anything because my tech is way behind I'm divorcing tech, well...that's what I would like to do only it's so embedded into society as the worlds money maker, spy and mind control device that it makes it very difficult if not imposable to live in this society without it. Even official gov necessities, forms of communication and employment are all web based now. I might just end up having to divorce society and become a vagabond or live in a different prison, one that is paid for rather than me paying for. Of course the tech benefits the worlds governments too even though they don't understand it and are being driven by the companies selling stuff which not only earns them tax but allows them to ride of the back of it and track, monitor and control us all. The Stasi would be proud of the tech we have today and out of respect for those that died in the wars trying to keep our freedom we should all resist what's going on now. They would be turning in their graves if they could see today's world. I guess the carrots dangled on the string are too large and the brainwashing is embedded into society too deeply as intelligence levels drop more and more and more generations grow up with an already decreasing level of intelligence. I shall get back to watching more love Island now
As for Tony's doves you could probably buy a robot to clean that up. Maybe even a cleaner drone, Then again a broom and hose pipe will do the job but that might be considered a health and safety risk so you have to buy the robot.
