Sunday drivers!

Post by tattie »

Who needs to go to the TT, Superbikes, Moto GP. Just spend an afternoon listening to the machinery whizzing past my doorstep.
I thought I heard a Storm (orange) 1050 Speed Triple (black) and a 900ss (red) passing yesterday.
"Davie" I heard every gearchange for 3 miles north and 3 miles south, must say the storm was head and shoulders above the others for the quality of sound.

Cheers

Had a good blast up round bonar, lairg and back by edderton. David Finnie was on the Duke and Willie on the Triumph 1050.
Haven't seen you out on the bike in a while, you got that seagull damage sorted yet?
Will have to arrange a ride some weekend!

How could you "hear" what colour they were?

On a similar note, anybody with a red storm ride through Galston on Saturday(i think) afternoon being tailed by some sort of cruiser/custom thing?

thought it'd be easy to hear how fast they're going... 14 red ones went past, but so slowly they were undetected...

I could hear what colour they were, as I was only about 8' away from them when they passed.
Probably with a combined speed of approx!!! 270mph. 8O

Gull damage  not fixed yet, will be getting it done around August time, after Knockhill.
I hope there will be a decent contingent heading down to the superbikes on the sunday morning.

Cheers
