A simple one:
I'm changing the front hoses as going flat bars and I know from previous that these need to be longer.
On the standard Storm is it 1 line down to a splitter then to each caliper?
and is the "race set up" 2 lines from the MC, 1 to each caliper? as this is on mine?
also, is 200mm enough to go longer than the standard length?

yes race set up is 2 individual lines from Master down.
depends how high your bars and risers are as to whether you need linger hoses. I had a goodridge braided race kit which was std length they sell for VTR, it was fitted for many years before I went flat bars, and it was more than long enough for the conversion.
my risers were less than 1" to centerline and then Ultra low bend bars if that helps.
200mm could be too much extra based on that

When you measure it get someone to lean the bike over on the side stand to let the front forks fully extend with the wheel off the ground, and don't forget to add a bit for the bumpstop- don't measure when it's just sitting there.
I'm sure you wouldn't, but wanted to mention in case anyone else researches this thread.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
