Gilles Rearsets
Gents, does anyone know if the lowest and furthest forward position on the Gilles rearsets is close to standard or better still further forward or lower? I'm trying to get a more relaxed riding position but with a factory look. Many thanks.

Think i've just answered my own question - on their website it suggests the lowest/furthest forward position is 10mm forward and 10mm lower than standard. Does anyone think this would be even noticable or perhaps have tried it please?
Re: Gilles Rearsets
Yes you are correct in that the "stock" position is 1 up and 1 back.
I run mine 1 down but haven't moved them forward and it does give you a bit more room

Thank you, I will have a think as these aren't cheap but good kit!

Re: Gilles Rearsets
Well yes and no...... because you need to remove the swingarm bolt to mount the rearsets on a VTR it is a bit more complicated than most bikes.
Other than that they are easy to install
