Carb or FI model shock? As different part no.s
The vardero shock is shorter than the storms with a different stroke and spring rate
Doesn't mean it won't fit as such but might find handling as result will be different.

But why would you, what are you trying to achieve?
I suspect it will sit lower but be too soft in both spring and damping.

my mate has a Varedero Ohlins shock Tony. Its actually 10mm shorter.

Does it have a height adjuster to extend the length?
