My storm always preferred black oil. It didn't matter what colour or grade I put in, when I checked it later, the bike had changed it to black oil when I wasn't looking.

i just grab the first semi syth bike oil on the shelf, its all much of a muchness as long as its specked for a bike with a wet clutch

Putoline semi-synth 10W40, I have just stuck with that brand as it's what it has had from new,
