Top Bloke!

Post by Kitch »

Major "big ups" and many thanks to Alan. What a star guy.

Pootled over to his this afternoon, whereupon we (mostly Alan - I held stuff professionally) whipped off my knackered shock and slapped on a new one.

After discovering the shock was seriously bent and that the linkage wasn't a Firestorm one - seems we'd found the cause of my fooked shock.

3 hours of taking off bodywork exhausts and badly fitting bits and it's like a new bike.

Seeing the red beasty in the metal was cool too - a seriously trick piece of kit.

Thanks man, you really are a star.

(went a bit naughty on the way home and now know the answer to the question in the post "How fast is the storm" *hint* it's fookin fast - then behaved myself rest of the way until my bloody tank decided to piss petrol on me again at 80 ish so fook it, it's coming off. Anyone want a carbon tank?)

Its unlikely as she has a red one and they are notoriously slow, whereas your new blue one should be much faster.

Yay! for back online. I'm chuffed to bits with it. If you ever have any 2 person jobs you need a hand with, give me a shout if you get stuck and I'll pop over. A pootle over the A65(?) might be in order once you're up and running to Rivvy so everyone can go "oooooooooh!"

As for 86 - yeah, it was significantly more than that...
