Ti's a strange thing but I just got a final redundancy cheque from BDO the company handling the Norton dissolvment. That was 10 years ago when my Canadian employer went down... It was only $108.... Hope the Norton suppliers and employees do better and don't have to wait so long
....

Met him once on a factory tour when they were based at Donington. The tour was organised by Spyder Club and they had a couple of Nortons that members could ride. One guy on the tour sledges Gardener a bit about the gear linkage looking like a bit of bent pipe - they had to do that to clear the engine case and make it shift better. You could tell Gardener was pissed and shortly after there were no more bikes for the club. Utter c@*t.
