Re: Lock down reading.
Anyone reading anything good at the moment?
I can recommend Oryx and Crake (plus the sequels) and The Passage. Both good instruction manuals. Terry Paratchett always has me laughing out loud. Atonement is brilliant as is Bel Canto.
Sci-fi wise the Justice trilogy, starting with Ancillary Justice is an intriguing read and, just because it's a tiny bit related to racing, The Art of Racing in the Rain had me hooked when I generally hate that genre.

^Yeah I read Ancilliary Justice a while ago. Was good.
Three Body Problem is a good one, some Chinese author, I forget his name, translated to English from Chinese. Was some of the best hard sci-fi I have read since Arthur C Clarke.

Good reads Mac. I quite like oxley, I guess most of us remember him in The motorbike magazines in the 80s, but he has done a lot of interesting stuff.
