Coronaprojects
Re: Coronaprojects
I am currently tidying the garage, so far I have found the floor but the wall elude me. Yes your right I am not the most tidy of people
Re: Coronaprojects
I am now entering my 3rd week, having been isolating and now on furlough ( let's see if we get paid)
Still have a hacking cough and feel absolutely knackered, so about normal. Well apart from the cough
TBH this is uncharted territory for me. Never been in this close proximity or for this long with SWMBO. Who will crack first, I have no plans for a new patio..........yet

Re: Coronaprojects
Hmmmmmmm double post is that the first sign?
Re: Coronaprojects
No, you're fine.
If it was a treble post, that would be much more serious; that's a different matter entirely, you'd be right to be worried then, for sure.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Treblepostavirus, it’s the end of the world as we know it!!!!

Re: Coronaprojects
Well I started off thinking I'd take this time to repaint my fork stanchions.
So after replacing seals and fluid as well as repainting.
I accidentally got carried away and put a new chain and sprocket set on, cleaned both wheels and gave them new bearings and properly run the wires for my heated grips.
Wondering how much more I can do before the other half get's sick of me spending time out there

Jacket still had some of last years bug strikes on it...
Heres something picked up in Devon last year...

Fek knows what it was but just a splat no damage...

Re: Coronaprojects
Well over here in Spain the lockdown started earlier than the UK.
And I'm bored shitless.
Other than working on my families farm land all I've done is tinker with my bike.
The police have been fining people who go out without good reason.
You even have to download a form and fill it in detailing your journey just in case you get stopped by the police.
So far I've done the following to my bike.
A thorough clean. Which included the removal and clay barring of the bodywork
I'm in the process of cleaning the headers
Removed the touring screen and luggage racks.
Repaired the mirrors and removed the mirror extenders.
Cleaned the chain. Just need to lube and adjust it.
Fixed a minor wiring issue
Checked all the fluids.
Rebuilt the rear mc and refreshed the brake fluid.
I also did this on my mates firestorm.
I've also rebuilt my spare clutch and front brake mc's.
God I'm so bored

I'm Pacing myself.
Yesterday I made a gin and tonic. Today is a rest day. Tomorrow I might feed the fish.

My new ride is a bit of a Howler and I love to make her Squeal
Re: Coronaprojects
Well I've been busy finishing off the bathroom, nearly done now I brought a MRA touring screen for the tuono, so fitted that. The VTR is on the lift so hopefully next week I'll start sorting that, jobs to do are. Rebuilt proflex rear shock, rear hugger, regrease dogbone new bearings, and a good clean then MOT and tax.
RIDE TO ENJOY

Woah! That looks like a suicidal badger splat. Or perhaps some discarded chopped tomatoes from a sub-par Devonshire fry up?MacV2 wrote:Something to do... Cleaned me leathers after ignoring them over winter...![]()

Haven’t ridden since the start of lockdown when teaching went remote, so planning to go for a big blat this weekend to compensate. Need to get the frustration out somewhere since there aren’t any gigs to play any more!! DIY doesn’t scratch the same itch.
