Now as much as I love my Storm, I struggle getting my feet up and the gear shifter feels far too short...
Adjustable footrests are no problem and easy to source, but I needed an extra 1" in the gear shifter and it needed to be further forward along with the footrest.
Well business is a little quiet at the moment what with the lockdown so I spent a few hours on the mill and made an aluminium bracket to sort both problems.


It kinda fits like this -

There's three threaded holes for the shifter to give more adjustment and I ended up using the middle one.
With the shortened link rod -

Mission accomplished I think and I once know for sure I'm happy with it I'll grit blast it to hide my gash machining and either paint it or have it anodised.
