what have you done to your "bike" today
Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Today I have mainly been changing the C&S on Nue Red.
Gave all the exposed areas that you dont normaly get to a good clean...Like the inside of the swingarm...
Gave the rear wheel a good clean & put some wheel wax stuff, I bought yonks ago, looks shiney & is suposed to make cleaning them easier...

dropped the big KTM while trying to do some back garden trials sections on it! was zero speed feet up but I ran out of lock [skill?] went to take a dab, but the top heavy monster was already too far over so I dismounted with a forward roll for 3 extra style marks.
it was onto soft mossy grass, so absolutely no damage as it sat on the crash bars and handlebar guards...... now lifting it up was a more much harder work than dropping it! ..... especially when the mirror catches in your shorts and yo have to put it down again!
will try jumps later

Bought one! a TM Racing 400. Needs some TLC but a bargain .washed and cleaned the other 3
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!
Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Fitted new wavy discs all round with new Brembo Road/ race pads in the front and new standard pads in the rear.
Went for a ride and am reasonably happy with the setup at this stage.
I had ZCOO pads in the front before and they were sublime however punished the standard discs.
As the Corona lockdown takes effect I decided not to get bits from Overseas and sourced everything here in OZ.
Hope everyone is safe and well.

Not strictly today but yesterday in the sun - finally fitted the Remus cans and link pipes to the old girl.
Pleasantly fruity sounding indeed!
I'll have to sort out some quick release passenger footrests and hangers - maybe....
At some point, I'll see about making new headers - just need time and all that...

Looking very nice mate, even in teal!

I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!
