Funny you should mention that as I had a Haenel air rifle too, although mine was a bit newer than yours by the sounds of it plus it was a .22 I also had a BSA Meteor .22, and the only air rifle I bought brand new was a BSA Mercury .22. The other two guns I had was my Dad's old double barrel 12 bore shotgun, and a Cooey single barrel 12 bore.
