Are manual cct's prone to any wear? I have no idea of the make or mileage of the ones fitted on my 1999 Firestorm, and are considering replacing them at the next service. The bike has done about 35000 miles.
There shouldn’t be any need for replacement of manual cct’s, just adjust them up if you’re getting rattling noise or loosen if it’s squealing. Other then that inspect to ensure there’s no oil seeping down the threads, of the rear in particular.
I would keep the krone in your pocket!
