Well I am as unfit as f@@k so two years ago decided to learn to skate ( I am 61 so not really in the first flush of youth). Today I went back on the ice after 5 months covid lay off. Omg did I wobble, but it started to come back , but now I ache, especially my feet and hips. And after 5 months off I am super unfit and knackered. No fool like an old fool!!!

Could be on a deal with the skating, although Gloucester is just SOOooo far from me. I used to skate heaps as a teen, and play ice hockey. Coincidentally, I hit the ice again in Dubai a year ago whilst on hols. I was also wobbly. One of those pastimes where you really need your own boots.

No Ice in Gloucester. Swindon is nearest to me. Today was Solihull as Swindon still shut.
Small rink in Malvern but I have never tried it
