I tend to go with chip butties and tomato sauce, but then I do have low rise bars. However these days a low rise is better than no rise !!!

you should have caught us 2 weeks ago when we had 4 storms in Rhayder for the welsh meet up.

2 had low rise renthal bar conversions
1 with VFR bars
1 with the old style Jota adjustable ace bars.

mine has renthals on it and I have adjustable rearsets in the lowest & most forward position [but these are not as low as the lowering kits that Richard has] . I am near worcester

The handlebars that Al (AMCQ46) and myself use are "Renthal Ultra Low" handlebars. You can see mine here:- viewtopic.php?f=31&t=41099&p=447870

Taken the lowering kit off.
Couldn't get on the brake or gear change confidently.
Just have to endure the knee pain, but did 200 miles, with std. pegs and low bars, the other day and it was ok

Wow, after all that trouble you went to to find and fit them.

TBH, it was a retativley cheap Chinese kit and no bother to fit and even less bother to take off
But at least I could tell SWMBO I was working on the bike and hide in the garage
