Time to put a bike in the garage again
Happy new year all ..
Over the last year the itch has been growing and it’s now at the point where I’ve not been able to resist it any longer .
It won’t be a road bike as the insurance will kill me as it’s been 5 years since my last policy ran out and I’ve lost all my no claims bonus .
So a trackday bike build again ! Sadly not a VTR but a cbr900rr .
I’m off tomorrow morning to have a butchers at one .
All being well ill be on the track next year , that’s if we ever get out of lock down .
I’ll start a thread for it once I have it in my garage and make a start .

As long as you're riding, it really doesn't matter what it is

Loud pipes don't save lives, knowing how to ride your bike will save your life.

Nice one Lloydie, plenty of weight saving opportunities there! What are your first mods likely to be?

Re: Time to put a bike in the garage again
Think the very first job will be removing all the anodised tat .
It already has 17” front and braided lines.
Nitron rear shock , ketch forks so it’s already off to a good start
My shopping list is growing .
I want a full s/s 4-2-1 exhaust system .
Race rear sets
Race body work
Paint
That’s the big bits and as you know the little bits and finishing touches are the main bulk of a build
As long as I stay working it’ll be ready for next summer (2022)

TBH LLoydie It's not off to a great start with it being upside down already...

Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

Hi Lloydie, nice to see you back mate

I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!
