Richard indicators
Hi all. I have a problem on a ttr 250 yamaha where when the ignition is turned on, all four indicators flash just like hazard warning lights. Moving the indicator switch doesn't change anything they just continue to flash like hazard warning lights which the bike does not have. Does anyone know what could be causing this to happen. Many thanks in advance, Mark.

Has it got a knackered alarm fitted?

Re: Richard indicators
No mate. It has no alarm fitted. Just can't get my head around why they were working perfectly ok. Switched the ignition off for ten minutes, put ignition back on again and all four indicators flashing like hazard warning lights.. Its got me flummoxed!!

Re: Richard indicators
Are the LED indicators or have those been fitted before? Don't they need resistors fitted? If they've been left in going back to filament bulbs, or not fitted then then odd things happen.

Re: Richard indicators
The indicator switch itself would be my first port of call, if not that then the flasher unit. That is if you don't have LED type indicators fitted, or as Nick points out you still have resistors left in the indicator wiring from previously fitted LED indicators,mark2000vtr wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 5:09 pm Hi all.
